Windows Fonts GONE!

I am working on my neighbors machine (which I do about
every two weeks we he blows something up) it is a Sony
Vaio laptop that he has loaded pretty full so I have been
telling him to clean it up to try get it to preform a
little better so he did and he deleted EVERY Font on his
machine and now every thing and I mean everything looks
like its in jibberish or whatever you want to call it, is
there a quick fix for this or do I need to reinstall the
OS?

PLEASE PLEASE HELP THIS GUY IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

I hope it offers you a solution. If not, you might want to simply copy the default fonts from another system with the same O/S and save them to either a diskette or burn them on a cd...then manually drag and drop them to his fonts folder which automatically installs them.
