Windows Folder View

How do I get the Folder view (the File structure) to stay
in the windows explorer bar when I am opening folders
from the desktop shortcut?

I can set this view manually by opening a folder going to
the View menu and then choosing Explorer Bar and clicking
on Folders. But it does not stay! After I close the
folder and reopen it (via the desktop shortcut) the
folder view is lost. I went to the Tools menu and
selected the option to keep the view. but it does not
stick when I click on the folder shortcut on my desktop.

Of course. It's how it works. Use the shortcut on Start.

Candy(ass), you are 100% wrong in your intimation that it is
the ONLY way it works. If you can't keep your sphincters
tight, why don't you go where you don't breathe the same air
we do? You give useless information and only show your own
ignorance with this crappy style. I suppose this poster has
badgered you for hundreds of questions too, and you answered
over and over - NOT! So what's your excuse this time?
You're as useless as tits on a boar hog.
