windows firewall, outgoing

Hi
Why windows firewall will block me outgoing ftp? I can't connect to
ftp site if i turn it on. How to stop it?

Allow the ftp client to connect.

Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Exceptions

Check the ftp application.

An alternative is to enable PASV or Passive (depending on the application)
for FTP to establish that it's being routed through a firewall.
