\\IP problem

Hi
In my windows xp, if i browse to \\127.0.0.1 , it got no problem.
But if i browse to \\IP, it fail. Why? i have already turn off all the
firewall.

With the information provided it's impossible for anyone to offer any qualified
help. The IP 127.0.0.1 is a loopback IP to your machine, hence the reason it had no
problem. Please provide in much more detail your network setup, protocols, etc. to
help others help you.

hi brian
i fixed it. I just reinstall the file share service to my network
card.
