Windows failed to open RAMDisk Error

John

Hello

I am using the WindowsXP Embedded SP1 Evaluation. I am trying to
achive a Remote Boot setup using the directions in the Help file.

I have sucessfully created a run-time image and booted it and imaged
it post-FBA using these commands

sdimgr /new ramdisk.sdi
sdimgr ramdisk.sdi /readpart:f: (F: being my image mounted with the
SDI Loader)

I then copy the resulting SDI into my Downloads folder.

Whenever I boot my system I get an error saying that Windows failed to
open the RAMDISK Image. This is with both a network boot and if I try
to load from the hard-drive and the Windows RAM Disk Driver is on the
run-time in the Target Loader

I have tried many differnet configurations of the image. I have tried
using both NTFS and FAT32 Filesystems in the SDI. Also I have tried
to do "sdimgr ramdisk.sdi /pack" to add the part blob to the SDI
Image.

Here is my image status as of now that sdimgr gives me

As far as my build enviorment goes I am building the Image for a
laptop and I ran tap.exe to import the devices. My server is running
Win2000 Small Business Server with DHCP running great and everything
in place.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in Advance,
John
