Windows Explorer

I have a fully updated Win2K laptop on which Windows
Explorer no longer displays the left (Folders) side of the
screen. I've tried to go through the settings and can't
find anything helpful there. When I click 'Search' that
displays just fine on the left, but will not show the
folders.

Any ideas?

Hello:

I too am facing the same problem on my desktop. I have
tried everything but the Folders Pane doesn't show. (even
the View/Explorer Bar/Folders). When I click
Search/History tabs they open all right, and if after that
I click the Folders button, the last opened tab (Search or
History) opens.

Please help.

Thanks and Best Regards

That's already checked - the folder pane is greyed out.
So far, I've replaced the system with another and plan to
reconfig.

"When in doubt, wipe it out!"
