Windows Explorer

I hope someone can help me as I keep running into dead-ends
A few weeks ago I was having some problems with Yahoo and I asked a friend for help. He instructed me to go to "Run"
and type "Regedit" and collapse all the "Directories" until nothing showed but Computer. Then I was to go to File and Export my Registry to a file I would remember. Then I was to go to Edit, and type in Yahoo, then restart my computer. Which I did. My Problem is that I lost Windows Explorer
When I go to Programs and to Accessories, my Winows Explorer icon is gone. In its place is the icon for the file where I exported my Registry to. I click on that Icon and that's exactly what it is. Can anyone tell me how to get Windows Explorer back to its place
Thank You

Why don't you do a search for explorer on your computer it might turn up.
Usually explorer.exe is stored in the Windows folder.
