Windows Explorer won't run, just restarts.

XP Home: anytime I click on 'My Computer', 'Windows Explorer' or 'Internet
Explorer' explorer closes and reopens and the program selected does
nothing.???? Since I can't explore, or open IE, I am writing this from
another computer.
 
Spybot runs clean, I can't download anything, so the others are out. Any
other ideas?
