How can I change the default way Windows Explorer displays folder contents
from Icon View to the Detail View? I would like to have the Detail View by my
default setting for all folders. Windows 2000. Thanks for your help.

Explorer|View|Details Then Explorer|Tools|Folder Options|View, then "Like
Current Folder". Depending on your likings, you may also need to check
"Remember each folder's view settings"
