Windows Explorer Standard Buttons

My Standard Buttons are no longer showing below the toolbar in Windows
Explorer. All I have now is the 'back' button over on ther right side with a
down arrow. When I click on the 'down' arrow, the buttons appear in a
vertical line. How can I get them back below the toolbar?

I must be living right because all of a sudden the standard buttons are back
in Windows Explorer and I didn't do anything and believe me I haven't hit the
box of wine yet. LOL

I would still like to know how to get them back in case it happens again.
