I have a Laptop 2.0 Coure 2 Dou with 2 GB RAM with windows vista
business edition.

My problem is that when I open any folder for example Doucments,
Pictures etc it takes a lot of time some seconds may be and the
explorer window is freezed. If clicked it sayes that the window is not
responding. Then the folder is opened and rest of the operations are
fast and normal.

can some one help me in that

Vista claims that its faster because it has multithreaded processing..

isnt it fun to see that windows explorer is far slower than it ever was in
XP
and also gives that nice whited out overlay telling you that its not
responding all the time?

LOL vista! Its a laughing matter (TM)

Can you boot into Safe Mode, open the Event Viewer
to see if there are any logged reports that might give a hint of hardware
failure or service that might help in better diagnosing the problem?

I would also check Problem Reports and Solutions to see if there any
solutions to problems you might be encountering.
