You could right click on the Windows explorer shortcut on the Start menu and
select Create shortcut. A new short cut called 'windows explorer2' will
appear at the bottom of the context menu. Now drag this short cut to the
desktop. When on the desktop just rename the shortcut to windows explorer by
removing the '2'.
