Is there a way to set Windows Explorer to open with the C: drive instead
of in My Documents?

Right click the Windows Explorer shortcut (or create a new
shortcut) and enter the following in the Target box on the
Shortcut tab,

%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,C:
