Windows Explorer Problem

Hi,
Can anyone help with a Windows Explorer Problem?
Whenever I run Windows Explorer it lists folders as follows
Desktop
My Documents
A:
C:
etc

I am not happy with My Documents being as above and under drive C as
well. I can temporary delete from under Desktop, but how can I delete
permanently?
Many thanks for any help
Regards

This should be roughly the hierarchy of the Folders pane when in C:\

Desktop
[+] My Documents
[-] My Computer
.....[+] 3½ Floppy (A:)
.....[-] Local Disk (C:)
.........[+] Documents and Settings
.........[+] Program Files
.........RECYCLER (Hidden folder)
.........System Volume Information (Hidden folder)
.........[+] WINDOWS
.....[+] CD Drive (D:)
.....[+] CD Drive (E:)
.....[+] Control Panel
[+] My Network Places
Recycle Bin

Of course you will probably have more folders showing, or more or less
drives.

If you want to redirect My Documents you can, but you cannot otherwise
change the folder hierarchy in Windows Explorer.

There is a registry setting which removes My Documents namespace folder from Windows Explorer (folder hierarchy). But that also removes My Documents link from other places in the shell, such as the Common Dialog boxes, Desktop etc.
