I recently cloned my hard drive to a new one because old
one was dying. Since XP would not boot on the new drive,
I ran the XP Pro install and selected to repair. Now
everything runs great except windows explorer opens up
after anyone logs in. I cannot find where this is
comming from. I checked all the startup folders, and
registry and no luck. Any one know how to turn this
off???

System32 Folder Opens When Logging on to Windows

If still doesn't fix problem:
Create Separate Processes for the Desktop and Explorer
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Value Name: DesktopProcess
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (1 = Separate Process, 0 = Default)

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called
'DesktopProcess' and edit the value according to the settings above. Exit
your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change
to take effect.
