Windows explorer opening new windows

When I have the folder's "explorer bar" on the left side on (the folder
treeview), and I click in the right-hand panel on a folder, it opens in a
new windows (without any folder treeview, just a window with the contents).

And yes I have the "open each folder in the same window" enabled in the
folder options, which is what I want. Any ideas?

Using windows XP SP2 PRO.

The "samefolderwindow.reg" in your first link fixed the problem.
This has been an annoyance for some time, so thanks again!
