Windows Explorer network drive IDs

We've just migrated to XP from 2000. In Windows Explorer, in the left pane,
labeled Folders, the many network drives are labeled with their often lengthy
names, followed by the drive's letter designation. Is there a way to show
the drive letter before the drive's name so that I can make the left hand
pane smaller, thus allowing a larger right hand pane?

Thanks in advance.

I got not responses to this question, but found the answer elsewhere, which
I'll post in case anyone else can use the information. This solution did the
trick, as opposed to another idea which called for using TweakUI.

=======================================

A registry edit is required to show the Drive-letters first. Start
Regedit.exe and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

In the right-pane, create a new DWORD value named "ShowDriveLettersFirst"

Double-click "ShowDriveLettersFirst" and set it's Value Data to "4"

Close Regedit.exe

If you want to apply the changes to other computers (if in a network), you
may create a REG file and distribute to your other computers, or using Group
Policy.
