Windows Explorer / My Computer

When trying to access files using either one of these
programs, I receive an error message. The programs do not
open the application and file. Does anybody know why this
is happening?
 
Hi,

They are the same program. What is the error message?

Try this: Start/run "sfc /scannow" - have your WinXP CD handy, you may need
it as the process verifies system file integrity.
