Windows Explorer keeps crashing

I have a strange problem with Explorer(not internet
explorer) crashing. What would be the best way to
reinstall just explorer? I have done all the defrag,
cleanup stuff. Funny, but My Computer works fine.

You don't / can't reinstall windows explorer.
Either do start, run, tyep in: sfc /scannow, have xp cd handy.
or
If you have a retail xp cd, boot to the xp cd and do a repair install.

You can't reinstall Explorer by itself, and just rerunning Windows setup may
not remove what is causing the problem.

It's best if you try to determine the cause of the crashes. Viruses and
spyware are common causes. Are you getting error messages? What,
exactly, is happening?
