Windows explorer is really ticking me off

Today I did a full back up of my system.TO my knowledge it was working just
fine before the backup. afterwards however I had a missing .dll and windows
explorer freezes if I attempt to search either of my hard drives(I type one
charachter). so I open task manager, check it out can't find a damn thing so
I end the task and get this:
