When I click on a Drive or folder in Windows explorer, instead of opening
that folder or drove and displaying results, it shows the first bit of the
Search dialogue..

Why?

Click Start | Run and type or copy/paste this command:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

Click OK

This problem happens when you modify the properties in Folder Options |
File Types for folders or drives.

Thanks very much that is really useful
