Windows Explorer Folder Pane

On my system (Win2K Pro), starting Explorer results in a display of the My
Documents folder with the Folder Pane active. I created an Explorer shortcut
to a drive that I need to explore frequently (by changing the Target to
explorer.exe D:\) but can't get the folder pane to open by default requiring
that I always click the folder button. I know it is possible to have the
pane open by default because I did it on a previous system (years ago) but
can't remember where to set the switch. I do remember that I thought it was
non-intuitive when I found the key the other time.

Edit the shortcut's "Target" to read;
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,E:\
Where E:\ is the drive or directory you wish to expand. Use the /e switch
for explorer view.

That is not what I did before (it was some "settings" widow deep in the
bowels of Windows) but it works whicis what I needed. Thanks. Is there a
listing of these switches somewhere?
