open Explorer in double-pane view?

I have several shortcuts whose target are just folders. I just specify
the folder on the command line. Win2k then loads some sort of single-
pane thingie that looks like Windows Explorer except it only has one
pane. How can I force these shortcuts to open Windows Explorer with a
double pane?

Edit the shortcut's "Target" to read
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,E:\
where E:\ is the drive and or directory you wish to expand.
