Windows Explorer files become 0KB

My documents, pictures, webs change from whatever size they are to show as
0KB abd become empty, useless files. I can sit in Windows Explorer and watch
them change before my eyes, so it must be something that occurs when Windows
Explorer is open. This has happened for the past couple years, on several
different computers, different operating systems and even when I do a new
setup on a new hard drive. I have Norton Antivirus and have tried McAfee and
neither ever show a virus. I appreciate any ideas to make this stop. Thank
you.

What version of NAV? Have you tried running the AV from a boot, or just
within Windows? Are you using the same OS on the different systems (meaning
the same installation disk)? Is there any kind of recurring pattern; a
recreatable event, or is it just random? More info is needed.

I had the same problem today when I moved files from my
usb drive to desktop hard drive. Files were changed to
0kb - even ones that were not replaced but in the same
directory where I moved the files.
