Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the annoying graphic
that sits in the middle of the Windows explorer display?
It shows a graphic of a folder, with the folder name, and
takes up an area equivalent to about 1/5th of the column
space available, making it hard to squeeze all the file
information columns across the window....

Wish I could attach a graphic here to explain better...

I've tried all kinds of Options and settings and view
areas to try to get this to turn OFF or not display, but I
am at a loss.

Can anyone help?

I also find that annoying.

Tools--Folder Options--Use Windows classic folders

(instead of Enable Web content in folders)
