Alright so I performed a clean install of xp on my pc i
installed all the updates for windows even sp2 now about
75% of the time when i right click a folder or a drive in
My Computer there is an error and explorer terminates. I
un-installed sp2 hoping that was cuasing the error, but
it seems that it is not so now i have sp1 with all the
updates and it still crashes constantly. Any help would
be awesome, since i do not want to have to do another
clean install. Thanks

Service Pack 2 is, at this point in time, beta software. Beta software is
intended for IT professionals only, who install it on computers specifically
setup for testing software. You never install beta software on your primary
computer, especially when that software is an upgrade to the operating
system.

This was clearly explained on Microsoft's web site:

"WARNING! This technical preview is unsupported and is intended for testing
purposes only. Do not use in production environments."

So then do i need to reformat and do another clean
install? or is there something i can do to fix my
problem? Thanks
