My IE 6.0 just started doing something odd yesterday. It
still works in general...so long as the URL entered exists
(like www.ebay.com).
But if the page no longer or never existed (like
www.ebay.coG), instead of coming back with a page saying
that the page could not be found, it comes back with a
Windows error pop-up. And when I click OK on that, IE
shuts down!
Here's what the pop-up says:
=======================================================
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (in the title bar)
-------------------------------------------------------
Runtime error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it
in an unusual way. Please contact the application's
support team for more information.
========================================================
How can I correct this?
