Hello all,

Yesterday I started my computer (another one), I was busy on this one so I
didn't pay attention but I heard he rebooted as soon as he tried to login
into windows and from that moment it's gone wrong. First I could get into
windows, login but when I'm in (WinXP) the system restarted after 30
seconds. And now every time I try to start windows (the Windows logo and the
scrolling bar so you can see it's loading) it gives a blue screen with some
text "blah blah blah restarting...." it shows this screen like a half second
and reboots so I can't really see what's going on. I tried to run in "safe
mode", "safe mode in ms dos" but it won't go to safe mode it just gives me
this message:

multidisk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows\ and some .sys files here

it gives several lines of this each time with another file at the end. Can
anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Do you think my HDD is broken or is
my windows damaged, can I fix it if I use the windows cd to boot and repair
it?

Thanks,

Devon

It looks like my mum is having the same problem has you Skye. Mum gets a
message saying We apologise for the inconvience but Windows did not start
successfully blah blah it then asks how you want to start windows but none of
the options work a blue screen flashes up for about a second with a message
which includes corrupt login can't read the rest because it flashes off to
quick. I've looked on help section on my computer and it mentions a windows
cd but we don't seem to have one Windows XP was on the computer when we
bought it.

Can anyone help

Same here, we recently moved and the XP cd is somewhere in 3 large boxes
full with cds so it'll take a while, I'll reply when I found him and tried
to repair windows.
