You have to make arrangements with an email provider. Your internet
provider probably also includes email in your account, so ask for their
instructions to connect to their email server. If they haven't written
instructions for Windows Mail yet, use their instructions for Outlook
Express but under Windows Mail. The instructions are probably
somewhere on their web site.

I'm not sure Windows Mail will connect to Hotmail, though - you may
have to download and install Windows Live Mail, and set up under
it instead:

You don't create an email address with Windows Mail.
You tell Windows Mail how to access your existing email account (if it's not
webmail).

Call your ISP and get instructions on what servers and user name you
have. Windows Mail doesn't make them, they just access already made mail
accounts.
