Hi there.

I'm trying to open WinZip file and extract some files from
within another application (SAS) ie I want my SAS program
to tell Windows to open a particular WinZip file and
extract it somewhere.

There is a command in SAS to do this, but I need to know
the comparable Windows syntax to pass to it.

Conceptually, I want to tell SAS to Run-WinZip-Open etc.

Are there comparable "Windows Commands" like DOS?

Thanks.

The book "Microsoft Windows Command-Line" by William R. Stanek ISBN
0-7356-2038-5 will tell you more than you may want to know about the Command
Line.

Wes/Jerry,

Thanks guys.

Due to a quirk with the way the files were compressed, I
eventually solved this with a Windows Script.

Apologies for the delay in responding. I've been off-line
for a while.
