Windows Desktop Display

After installing UniBlue (performance software), the Windows XP SP build
information now displays on the lower right corner of the desktop. Maybe
coincidence, but it just showed up. How do I get rid of it?
 
Look in the registry at the PaintDesktopVersion value:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

The option can be toggled by changing the Value Data:

0 = disabled, 1 = enabled
