windows desk top

I was able to run 2 internet games at the sametime, WAS
able to click on my windows button next to the ctrl
button, this would drop my game and show my whole desk
top and I WAS able to pick up the second game from the
task bar on the bottom. NOW, as I start one game, the
windows button does not work to show me my desk top, I
have to go the the start button to start the second game
going. Hitting ALT and TAB does not bring me back to
desk top! what can I do

Which games are you trying to run?
Are they the same as the ones that used to work?
Does Control-Escape work?
Does the windows button work normally, when your not in the game?
