Windows Deployment Services Boot file

I am new to this. Did not use RIS or Windows Deployment Services before.
Now, when I try to learn it, I can find lots of documentation on RIS and very
limited documentation for Windows Deployment Services. One of the important
questions that I have is how to create boot image file? Everywhere I am
reading, the file is there. But where can I find it for XP? Or how can I
create it?

Also, I cannot find anything about how to add drivers that I need.

At this point I need to deply windows XP only.

Any help?

Download the Windows Automated Installation Kit. This includes a WIM image
you can use as the basis for creating a boot image and has documentation on
how to add drivers to the WIM, etc. I agree there is a general dearth of
documentation for WDS, hopefully this will change v. soon
