Windows Defender, Vista and the 0x80240029 Error

As far as I can see, the command promt "sfc /scannow" for cheking the
systemfiles, do not not work i VIsta, it's an XP command. If anyone know what
the similar command is in Vista, it would be nice to know

Dear Mr Harmon.i have the same problem as you my windows defender says its
out of date ,Error Found ox80240029,if you find out how to fix it please let
me know ,my email is (e-mail address removed) thanks for reading
this Anthony Brennan .btw my vista is 5 weeks old.
