Windows Defender Scheduled Scans Not Running

I've recently upgraded from MSAS Beta 1 to Windows Defender Beta 2. The install was fine but I've noticed that the scheduled scans do not run. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Defender but no luck. My userid for this install is defined in the Administrators group so there should be no security issues. There is no entry in the task scheduler for the Windows Defender scan as I may have expected. All my other scheduled tasks run OK. Does anyone have any ideas?

Currently running on W2K Pro with all Windows Updates applied.
