Windows Defender not listed in all programs list

I'm trying to create a shortcut for desktop but can't find Windows Defender
listed in all programs!
The only way I can access it is through add/remove programs and that
reinstalls it every time.
Is this something I'm doing wrong?

Hello Tripp,

you can find it here:
c:\Program Files\Windows Defender\

right click on "MSASCui.exe" and make a shortcut to your desktop or
better to quick launch (less on the desktop, speed up your Pc)

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the response!
I located a User Interface file (MSASCui) and moved it to the desk top, this
allows me to access WD without haveing to reinstall every time. It is not
listed as a .exe file on my computer.
I saw a MSASCui.exe.manifest file that was the only .exe file listed, it was
not the file I needed to use. I only say this so maybe it will help others
that don't have alot of experience with computers, me included, to get a
shortcut created.

I had read all the other responses about creating a shortcut, at 3 am, but
was easily confused. lol
Tom your response HELPED very much, Thanks!

Hello Tripp,

glad you fix it! :)
You can set explorer on details and also in map options you can set
things that you can see more, like hidden and extensions.
right click on a program must give the option to make a shortcut on desktop.
