Windows Defender installation error

When I tried to install using after downloading, I got the following message:
"This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact
your product vendor."

Anyone run into this and know how to work around it?
 
This normally indicates that you've downloaded the 64-bit package (as
indicated by the last portion of the filename, and are running it on a
32-bit OS version.

Go back and re-try the download.
