Windows Defender Icon Missing

Lately the Windows Defender Icon has been missing from the Notification
Area. It appears to be running and the option to always show the icon
is selected. It works correctly on other PCs that I have.

Any ideas?

Is the icon there if you click on the < button on the left of the
Notification Area?

Is it under Current Items or Pat Items?
