Windows defender (April 1347) and system restore checkpoints

I have noticed that since I installed Windows defender beta 2 there are no
longer system restore checkpoints showing in system restore, but there are
windows defender checkpoints, I am using win xp pro, is this correct or
should there also be system restore checkpoints showing ????.

You are not alone! I had 15 Defender restore points created un-bidden in the
last 3 days. When I installed some new unrelated software a restore point
was created normally in addition to the extra Defender items.
Ho-Hum it is a Beta but not really solid enough for a version well into the
Beta 2 progression.
