I just reformatted my Hard Drive and re-installed Windows
XP Pro. All of my hotkeys work fine except for "Wndows+D"
for Show Desktop. Any idea how to get it working again?

This is what I know:
all other hotkeys still work
the "Show Desktop" shortcut on the quick-launch still works
the "windows" key and the D key still work.

Any ideas appreciated,
thanks

Do you have a show desktop in the quicklaunch bar?

If the Show Desktop icon is missing, and the Show
Desktop.scf file is present in the Windows\System, or
WINNT\System32 folder, you can add it to the Quick Launch
Bar by performing the following steps:

Click Start/ Find /Files or Folders, or Start/
Search /For Files or Folders and seacrh for *.scf.Drag
the Show Desktop file from the c:\windows\system folder
to the quick lanch bar to create a shortcut for it
there.NOTE: If the Show Desktop icon is missing from the
Quick Launch Bar, you can recreate it by following this
article:

Toolbar

The shortcut is not the problem. The "show desktop" is in
the quick launch and works fine. it is the "windows+D"
key combo that does not work and causing me problems.
