Windows could not load the installer for CDROM. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance

I just installed Win2k on my pc, and I now get this message everytime windows starts "Windows could not load the installer for CDROM. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance" Both my CDROM and my burner work fine, however it pops up for both, and then goes to the add new hardware wizard. Any help would be appreciated

Go to support.microsoft.com, search for WinInst (maybe WinInstaller).
Version 2 is current. This is just an ordinary program, to download it and
install it. I had problems of this nature and MS had me do this. Note --
you get one free trouble call per installation.
