Windows Components gone

All of my Windows Components (Sound Recorder, Paint,
Games, etc.) have disappeared--they cannot be found
through any search, command prompt, etc. I have tried
reinstalling from add/remove programs area, but to no
avail. Where did these things go???!???

Have you searched through the "WINDOWS" "System 32"
Directories thats where they should be. Be sure to unhide
hidden files in win explorer\tools\folder options. first
incase they have been hidden .If you find them then right
click them\create shortcut and move the shortcut to the
start\ programs folder.If they arnt there then they
should reinstall from the add and remove windows
components in add and remove programs page.You may need
your instalation CD.
