whilst reformating my computer with windows xp professional, my cd rom drive
some how destoryed the cd, the computer how has a incomplete version of XP,
what can i do now without having to fork out for a brand new windows XP
CD?????

Please excuse my lack of understanding. How in the world did your CD ROM
drive destroy a CD?

In the unlikely case that the CD drive destroyed your CD,
ask a friend to make a copy for you. Make sure it's the same
type as yours, i.e. OEM or Retail.
