Windows Build Update???

Hi Gang,

Not sure if this is the right forum to bve posting in. If not just yell at
me later !!!:) I'm Trying to see if MS has a build update for WINXP SP2
Home editon. I had an update installed a while ago but, one system crash
later, it's no longer on my PC. I've tried searching MS downloads and update
but none of the answers really helped or made sense. I'm running an HP
Pavillion A720n with XP preinstalled as an OEM version. Any ideas?

Build update?
What build are you now?

Start --> RUN --> winver --> OK
Copy the line that starts :

Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_...)

Build:Version5.1(Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519:Service Pack 2

That is the current build (SP2). The next one, if there is a next one will
be SP3. Be advised, however, that there have been lots and lots of interim
fixes since SP2.
