Windows Boot Manager

a couple of weeks ago my laptop started malfuctioning all of the sudden.
the boot manager keeps popping up with this error message

external usb drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as
a hard drive or cd-rom drive that is failing. Make sure any removable

Info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred"

There is/was no external device connected to the laptop - only the power
cord.

it also tells me to edit the boot manager( is there something i can
do to edit the manager I TRIED EVERYTHING RECOVERY , SYS RESTORE AND ALL
OTHER AVAILABLE OPTIONS SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME)

Did you do this yet?
If you continue to receive this error message, contact the hardware
manufacturer.

Chances are, the hard drive is failing or has failed and will need to be
replaced. If it's under warranty, then the manufacturer should be your first
contact. Otherwise, seek a reputable pc shop.
