Hi,

I have just upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 and I can no longer watch my
dvds. I keep receiving the below warning message. I have tried changing the
resolution to 800x600 with 16bit and it still does not work. I tried several
dvds, still nothing :-( All was operational with WMP 10

"Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your
Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then
try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings."

I have a Sony VAIO FX503 laptop running Windows XP Home Edition SP2, with
the latest software and hardware drivers from Sony & Windows Update site i.e.
the laptop is fully patched. I have included the full hardware specification

You might want to post to the windows media player newsgroup.
