Windows beeps twice when putting wireless card in pcmica slot

What does it mean when Windows beeps twice instead of once when
inserting a pcmcia card? I can't get the card to work..
 
If you have all the drivers I would boot into safe mode with the card out,
Device Manager and remove the card. Reboot with card out, insert it and you
should get the hardware wizard like you never installed it in the first
place.
