windows authentication when connecting to exchange server 2003

Hi there

I am using Outlook 2003 to connect to an Exchange Server 2003 account. Each
time I start Outlook, I am prompted for my username and password. Is it
possible for Outlook to obtain this information directly from the operating
system (Windows XP), so that I'm not prompted each time?

Best regards

Hi Loane,

it's only possible, if your login name and PC/Notebook is part of the
Windows Domain you are connected to. This means when you enter your
name/password when login to your computer, your PC also should show a
third line in the login popup window with the name of the domain you are
trying to connect to. Beside your login name, also your PC should be in
the so called machine domain of the windows network. Otherwise, there is
no chance to automate the outlook login process.
