windows as default wireless network setup

How do I make windows the default setup on my wireless laptop? Every time I
start, I'm forced to go to advanced settings to check the "allow windows to
configure box"--is there a way to make this happen automaitically/default?
 
Hi Rory, is this question related to Windows XP? This newsgroup is for a
special version of XP called XP embedded that is used by OEMs for
