Windows always start as inactive

I use IE6. I have an internet shotcut to Google. Whenever I double click
it the window opens but it is inactive and I have to click in it before I
can start typing. Does anyone know how to set up the shortcut so that the
window starts active?

Thank You

Fix File Associations.

Try the Lnk, HTM and URL fixes.

Thanks Elmo but my shorcut is a URL, it is not a file and has no extension
so your solution does not apply.

All Internet Shortcuts are files with URL extension (the URL extension tells windows
that they are shortcuts and how to open them). You cannot see the extension because
window hides it. So try Elmo's solution (the URL fix should work).

Good Luck, Ayush.
